UCSD's Glycobiology Research and Training Center (GRTC) has been a force for advancing research in glycoscience for over 19 years. The GRTC leadership directs graduate courses in glycosciences, coordinates the actively manages the productions of the Essentials of Glycobiology textbook, and well as developing international accepted glycan symbol nomenclature.
